Hello everyone,

How long had it been since I'd been to Kobe? I had an appointment to see the doctor for a Covid-19 PCR test before I visited Thailand. During my wait for the results I walked to Kobe Port which is about 10-15 minutes from the clinic, not far.

The Kobe Port area is a famous sightseeing spot of Japan with a magnificent view of the landscape of sea and mountains. Along the port are shopping malls, shops and restaurants.

While I was walking along the port, I heard a Chinese song from somewhere. It seemed there was some sort of event going on.

What was it? Do you want to know?

It was a small Taiwanese food festival! There were about 10 to 12 restaurants that were selling Taiwanese food and beverages.

I tried Jinfeng Braised Meat Rice with tea. I wanted to try some other food too but all the shops had long lines. So it was only the one dish that I got to try. I hope to be able to try some of the other foods next time.

Nearby was Kobe tower, which is a landmark of Kobe port. When you come here, you should make sure take at least one photo of it.

With peaceful and beautiful views, Kobe Port is a great place for a relaxing stroll.
