There are skies that seem to say nothing, and suddenly you look up and it's painted with little white dots. Today Havana woke up with this mackerel sky.
We Cubans call it a "sheep sky": altocumulus clouds scattered like a flock of sheep across the blue. Old-time fishermen read it as a sign of wind and changing weather.
And yes, even the power lines have their charm: in Cuba the sky lives with the city, and even the utility lines seem to want to draw musical staff lines in the air.
Who else photographs the sky when nobody's watching? What's the most memorable sky of your week?
