I took this photo many years ago when I was at Mystic Lake, MT.
The windows are open on this snowy day because of the heat the generators are producing inside. There were 2 6MW pelton hydro generators in this power house.
It was originally designed and built in the early 1900s to support a local mine. Now it produces spinning reserves to support the grid.
