What Are You Agreeing To?.png

Whoa! Mind blown… Like screw a proper intro, this is it folks… This is the ah-ha moment I think we all have been waiting on for those of us that have been trying to figure out, participate, and promote this decentralized way of living. I am 30 minutes into the audiobook of “The Four Agreements” and I am ready to press reset on my whole life lol I don’t know if it is because I am on vacation, or because it is the end of the year, or because I will be 30 in less than 2 months but this book has ya girl rethinking her whole existence lol Like no lie…

In the first 30 minutes the author is heavily discussing what he likes to call, “The domestication of humans.” And I am like, “man oh man we’ve had the game effed up for centuries!” He speaks about us all living a dream and going to sleep and subconsciously still dreaming. It is def some inception type of psychological mind f*ck but it resonated with me in a real way.

Think about it, at some point all of this (life as we know it) was one big dream for many many people. And then now we (those of us alive), are still dreaming and building the world around us based on said dreams. And what we want in our dream is based on what we are taught we should have and what we deserve based on the dreams of others. But says who? Who created THE standard of living? Who created THE rules and regulations? Who decided what was fair and what wasn’t? Who is THE judge?

We are the judge of ourselves on our individual journeys and then we come together as a whole and continue to judge one another intentionally and unintentionally. But I honestly feel that those of us participating, in one way or another, with decentralized ways of living are slowly but surely waking up not only ourselves but the planet.

But even so, we still have “boundaries” of sorts in the blockchain world as well. Boundaries in the form of rules:

  1. You cannot delete anything from the blockchain
  2. All transactions are visible
  3. If your private key goes missing, you no longer have access to your wallet
  4. Code is law

And these rules exist why? So that everything is out in plain sight. So that we can live more mindful and intentional. I mean that def sounds like one hell of an airy fairy love and light sort of way of doing “business” but that seems to be what it all boils down to. woo sa

My mind is buzzing like crazy right now. I want to gift this book to everyone I know. So, as of now, I will leave you with a very popular summary of what each of the agreements that we SHOULD make are and I will do you one better and drop the FREE audiobook below as well. Enjoy and let me know what you think about ALL of the above… This *ish runs hella deep… HELLA!

P.S. He even makes coding/computer analogies... I mean how could I resist this book for so long? lol
