In the backyard of my house, we have different plants, some of them are decorative, herbs such as oregano and basil, plus other fruits such as mango and lemon, there was a tomato tree but after its first harvest it withered.
The lemon tree in particular had never given harvests, but after months of fertilizing the soil where it is planted with fruit and vegetable peels as well as weighting it with water bottles hung on its branches, I began to see its flowers and later the growth of lemons, although you have to be very aware of the ants that want to take its little flowers.
After years of being planted and the necessary care in recent months has blessed us with more than 50 lemons on its branches and good size, now just enjoy a good lemonade daily because you know as the saying goes "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade ...".
En el patio de mi casa, tenemos distintas plantas algunas que son decorativas, hierbas entre ellas or茅gano y albahaca m谩s otras de frutas como el mango y el lim贸n, hab铆a una de tomate pero luego de su primera cosecha se marchito.
El 谩rbol de lim贸n en particular nunca hab铆a dado cosechas, pero luego de meses de abonar la tierra donde se encuentra plantado con c谩scaras de frutas y vegetales adem谩s de colocarle peso con unas botellas de agua colgadas en sus ramas, empec茅 a ver sus flores y posteriormente el crecimiento de los limones, aunque hay que estar muy al pendiente de las hormigas que quieren llevarse sus florecitas.
Despu茅s de a帽os de estar plantada y los cuidado necesarios en los 煤ltimos meses nos ha bendecido con m谩s de 50 limones en sus ramas y de buen tama帽o, ahora solo queda disfrutar de una buena limonada diariamente porque ya saben como dice el dicho "Si la vida te da limones, haz limonada"...
