God is so merciful that He still love sinners the way he love those who are not sinners. Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly shows His willingness to forgive those who repent and turn to Him. His protection is not an approval of sin but an expression of His love and desire to lead people to righteousness. God protected individuals such as David and Peter despite their failures because they sincerely sought His forgiveness.
God protects those people who are humble and ready to listen to Him. While sin can bring consequences, God's grace provides a way for sinners to find refuge, guidance, and restoration. He does not abandon those who genuinely seek Him with a repentant heart.
Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
This verse reminds us that God cares for those who recognize their need for Him. His protection is especially evident when sinners repent, receive His mercy, and strive to walk according to His will.
