God is merciful and His mercy extends to those sinners who come to Him and ask for his Forgiveness. God does not condemn sinners even though sin creates a distance between man and God. He calls them to repentance and provides forgiveness through His mercy. His protection is found by seeking Him, trusting His mercy, and turning away from sinful acts.
Even though God is merciful to us it does not mean we can continue to sin continuously. True repentance begins with a change of heart and a willingness to obey God. When sinners genuinely turn to God, He offers forgiveness, restoration, and spiritual refuge. Therefore, there is hope and protection for sinners who repent and put absolute trust and dependence in God.
