You know a lot we read on social media is actually true. I used to think they were all content, just a cooker-up story to cause traffic and make money out of it, but then I kept experiencing the unimaginable. Things I never wish for my enemies and things I will daily pray against never for it to come my way.
One thing I have advised myself is to ensure I love myself like no man's business. Work hard, make my own money, and have enough to care for my kids in case of necessity tomorrow. I am a child of God, and I believe God is always with me, but then again, wisdom is profitable to direct. We don't live life by chance or default but apply wisdom even as a Christian wife and mom.
So earlier today, there was a drama that happened in a hospital close to my church. A terrible accident happened on the highway, and policemen brought the affected victims to the hospital for treatment. One of the victims, a married man, was unconscious, but they found his phone in his pocket; unfortunately, it was locked with a password. Coincidentally, the wife called with the intention of reminding the man to send her money to buy food stuff, but then a policeman answered the call and informed the wife about the accident.
She rushed to the hospital but could only deposit #50,000 for them to start treatment. The money was poor, but she said it was her last card. The police asked her to open the husband's phone, but unfortunately, she didn't know her husband's password. Still on the matter, a call came, and the name the man used to store the number was so suspicious. The policeman picked her up, and it was a lady demanding that she have been waiting for his call. The police asked her who the man was, and she said she was a girlfriend. She was asked to come around to the hospital.
The man's wife on the other hand was asked never to act dramatic, and when the lady came, she saw the condition of the man and opened his phone with the password, transferred the needed money to the hospital, and took her leave, telling the hospital to invite his wife to come look after her husband.
Now, it was so embarrassing to know that a side chick knows the password of the man while the legal wife has it not. There is a lot around the drama, but as a wife, I am too; I felt for the woman. Most women are going through a lot in the hands of a man. It's time to tell yourself the truth, advise yourself better as a woman, be up and doing, look good, add value to yourself, and let's see if there won't be a difference in that marriage. It's quite unfortunate that some men don't understand marriage; they breach the vow anyhow without thinking about the detriment.
