I spent almost 5 hours today in the saloon. Like my precious time, I am someone that loves utilizing every second of my time but today was a bit different. This is one of the reasons why I don't like braiding my hair; it takes a lot of time and it's so painful.. lolz
It's been a while since I braided my hair like this, it's either I retouch my natural hair, style it and use it that way, or just do a simple weaving and be using my wig whenever I step out of the house. Since the innovation of wigs, most ladies including me have been taking advantage of it more often than frequently braiding. Wigs are simpler than braiding although, they all have a different fitting. Some ladies have different types and colors of wigs to match every occasion. The only thing left is just for us to do a simple weaving and be using wigs, it might be costlier but it last longer, it can be reused as many times as possible and that's made it nicer.
So today, I decided to change my look from wearing weavon to braided hair and I must confess that I nearly cried in the saloon...lol. I was only enduring the pain as an adult but deep down, I was in serious pain.
*I have been using my hair stylist for some time now, so I didn't bother to let her know the length of hair I wanted, I assumed she already knows that I don't like lengthy hair...it makes me uncomfortable, and I prefer moderate length that wouldn't disturb me in any way but the lady gave me a longer length. I didn't discover it on time and it made me feel a little bit sad
Even at this point, telling her to lose it and begin afresh wouldn't be fair enough so I decided to dance to her tune.
While she was braiding my hair, I was reading some blogs and dropping comments. I didn't want the whole hours to just go that way, I was enduring the pain and giving* 😍. ?Then it came to a point that I couldn't multitask again, and the pain became unbearable...I had to drop my phone aside and Concentra on the pain bearing* 😂.
Some guys do say that being a woman is not easy and I concur! On the quest to look more beautiful, one ends up bearing pain, what a heck..lol. I was finally done after almost 5 good hours, the hair wasn't bad anyway but the length has been making me a bit uncomfortable and I do hope to get used to it soon.
I had other chores that were waiting for me at home while I was away. Immediately I returned home, I attended to them till night. It was not a bad day, after all, I achieved many things offline, and hopefully, tomorrow will be better.
