Perhaps I wake up one morning to discover that I have been given 24 hours to manage Hive? Let's see what I will be up to ...
It will definitely feel good to see that I have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the hive ecosystem that is already a part of the lives of thousands of its users.
The first thing I will do is find a good way to make Hive more welcoming to new members so they don't see the platform as a strange land and keep walking on the dark. I was there, and I know that navigating through this platform as a newbie is not an easy-peasy task, so this project is a big yes for me.
Secondly, I would introduce a better support system for newbies as soon as they start writing. Both engagement and reward are excellent motivators for newcomers. Even though Hive is not a get-rich-quick scheme, there should be welcome support for new users. They need to be encouraged while showing them the right way to do things and grow their account gradually.
Again, I would set out a structure to see that those hivers who are always creating quality content but are never visible for upvotes are given close attention. Some people's nice efforts are never noticed here, months to months, but with this power, I will strive to fix the error.
Finally, I would also set a structure through which more people outside will discover Hive, like radical outreach other than what we have been doing on X. A creative way of fishing out those great content creators from Web 2 wouldn't be a bad idea, letting them know the friendships, knowledge, creativity, and opportunities that the Hive platform provides alongside the reward.
I believe that attracting the right people here will bring a better chance of building a community that continues to grow.
Can I achieve all these within 24 hours? 😀 Considering that I will need a discussion with the devs and maybe witnesses? Just maybe, but my goal is mainly to make a meaningful change that would produce a good result in the long run .
