For the past week or thereabouts, I have been battling with network issues. For someone who has many things to do online each day, it can be so frustrating to watch whatever you click spin in circles for minutes without any response. Sometimes, when the network comes up, it's just partial, and this makes work so sluggish and annoying.
I have been trying to figure out what the problem could be as the network issues keep escalating. There are some days that I will have a stable network in the morning, and then all through the afternoon, it vanishes, and maybe in the evening, it returns but not fully. Where I stay is a developed city. Lagos state Nigeria has a very large population with different official businesses that need a good network to thrive. We have had a good network, but sometimes it becomes unstable. The current instability nowadays is lingering, which gives me concerns as it interrupts my daily goals. Most times, I will click on create post, type almost two pages, and within a few minutes, I will discover that half of what I wrote has vanished after the usual spinning in circles. Sometimes, it will take me 2 minutes to type a comment in a post after reading it, and it will take me 10 minutes to reply to a comment. My discord activities have been the worst. That one sometimes deletes whatever I write due to the network. I have missed joining the Neoxian giveaway three times within this period due to network issues. Just this evening, my friend Vickoly missed a giveaway as well. He lost his network within a short time. Amiableamara too, a hiver complained to me this evening on her inability to access hive platform. All these are due to the network issues we have been dealing with. I stepped out this afternoon, and a neighbor also complained. That was when I realized that it could be a general problem with MTN network users.
At this point, an alternative is needed. I have been using the MTN network for data subscriptions since I started using a phone, but they kept disappointing me recently. I have asked around, and from what I got, the Airtel network looks fine, though their charges are higher. However, I wouldn't mind getting it. I plan to visit the Airtel office by tomorrow to buy their SIM, register it, and subscribe to data on it; hopefully the issues with the network will be sorted out.
Just two weeks ago, I got a power bank as a backup to the poor electricity supply we have been dealing with. Today, it's all about network issues. Here in my country, it's always from one issue to another, but all in all, finding our coping mechanisms has saved the day.
Which network do you use? Can you recommend any for me?
Feel free to share your experience with me in the comment section😇.
