Have you ever wondered what that will be like? A life with no worries?
I’ve thought about this severally especially since it seems as if when you solve a problem, another is just waiting round the corner to unveil.
Some people say that when they achieve one thing or another, all their problems would be solved. Give them that and next, they're already worrying about something else. Its like its unending! Like they say, life is not a bed of roses, but sometimes, we need to take a break and lie on that bed of roses for awhile.
What then is the solution? I see people out there that I envy, people who seem to have life under control where everything seems to happen in their favour. When I ask why it's so, I keep getting the reply that everyone has a problem. Is that true though? That everyone has a problem?
I cant help but feel there could be few set of lucky people out there without a single worry.
However, I wont deny that most of the things I know today was due to the seeming unfortunate things that happen in life. They gave me several opportunities to learn and grow. They paved the way for greater things. You know what brought those opportunities? Problems!
Heres a typical example;
During my undergraduate days, I had a little issue with accommodation so I had to stay with a friend. After 3 months, there was a problem with the house and I had to leave. Everything was so unexpected and there was no time to make plans for where I would stay or even keep my things temporarily.
Coincedentally, this happened on my birthday! Yes guys. I was homeless on my birthday!... Lol.
I packed my things outside and went for a walk. There was no place to go and I wondered where I was going to spend the night that day, my birthday!
My sister called me that morning to wish me a happy birthday and as she was singing for me, I was feeling so sober. I didn’t tell her about it though. As I checked social media to see peoples birthday wishes, I got even more sober because of the situation I was in.
I contacted people and eventually I got a place to spend a few days until I got a place.
Few days later, a family accepted me to stay with them without paying a dime! The place wasn’t great but hey.. who am I to complain?
I stayed there for a year for free and that’s not even all. Can you guess what happended?
Moving to that house in particular was what gave me the opportunity to learn fashion designing for free!
Do you see that? Getting homeless on my birthday was the best gift I could have asked for because life was giving me a chance to learn a skill I had always wanted to learn but never got the means to do it.
Yes, I felt miserable when the problem started, but eventually I felt like the luckiest person on earth that the problem happened. Apparently, Life gave me just the perfect birthday gift!
This happened about 2 years ago. Ive had several life issues to deal with after that. They were all blessings because they were all teaching me. I know that very well but as im typing this I still have that feeling of lieing in that bed of roses for awhile.
Am I wrong to think that way?
Would you prefer a life without worries or you like the adventures that life seeming problems bring as well as the lessons and growth?
Let me know what you think in the comment section.
Once again, thanks so much for reading my post!
See you in the next one!
