When I started my way in the social network Hive Blog and especially in Leofinance last January the price of the LEO token barely exceeded 0.2 cents, however all members of the community at that time agreed that eventually this value would increase to levels higher than that of the American currency as long as that locomotive called Bitcoin continued its upward course towards values then unimaginable.
I remember that in my first publication someone commented to me: 'you joined at the best time', and certainly so it was because during the first quarter of the year LEO was overcoming unimaginable barriers, to the point of reaching and surpassing (for a short time) the price of 1$, something qualified as historical as well as amazing given how fast this process was.
Of course, there was no shortage of optimistic voices that assured that by June at the latest the price of the LEO token would exceed $5, and many even claimed that by today's date its value would reach $10 per unit, something absolutely incredible for such a recent project as the one we are involved in as authors, curators and investors.
Likewise, other voices took a negative stance regarding LEO, considering that eventually its price would plummet considerably as the bear hibernation process takes hold of the Bitcoin (something totally natural in this cryptocurrency), therefore they recommended selling before the fall of the token devalues what was invested (in terms of time and money) in them.
There is no doubt that we live in historic times regarding the world of cryptocurrencies, although more than 10 years have passed since the appearance of Bitcoin, this alternative economy is still in its infancy, therefore those of us who are in this world because we believe in it or because we consider it as a platform to substantially improve our income, tend to make many mistakes, largely due to inexperience or overconfidence that can lead to frustrations and blame cryptocurrencies for our financial 'misfortunes'.
For me LEO is the most revolutionary project I have participated in after Bitcoin and Hive itself, through this token I have managed to achieve personal goals that would be impossible or at least take forever to achieve with fiat money. Upon discovering the monetization of content in Hive and Leofinance, as well as the possibility of generating income by sharing how much or how little I know with a highly intelligent and supportive community my outlook on life changed positively.
As we all know the processes in the world of decentralized cryptocurrencies are governed by the sudden fluctuation of their price, a characteristic that those of us who know about this subject learned to live assuming the risk that this implies. Evidently the moments are cyclical, the rises are not eternal, at any time a price drop occurs so it becomes necessary to rethink the strategies to follow to minimize the impact of the fall and make it favorable to our cause.
For me the worst strategy is to panic, start selling your tokens or cryptos when they fall in price does not seem to be the smartest way to act, let's see, by common sense: if you did not sell them when they were expensive why would you do it when they are worth less? While in recent months the price of LEO has been affected by the (momentary) fall of Bitcoin the reality indicates that this pullback is about to culminate.
In fact at this moment the price of LEO is on par with its levels in January of this year, that is, after a period of decline the trend is reversing, so we see a similar behavior to the same time when our beloved token exceeded values that led it to level the price of the dollar. It would be reckless on my part to ensure that LEO will return to cost $1 or reach $10 as the most optimistic wish, however this seems to be the time to take advantage of the revaluation of our crypto, more if we take advantage of the fall period to increase our LEO reserves when they fell in price, in this way to revalue thanks to the advance of Bitcoin we will have more chances to culminate the year with a significant income in our wallets.
In the meantime, let's keep on mimicking and believing in this beautiful project.
