My grandfather used to say: "There are people so poor that they only have money", I remember he always expressed that phrase when he observed that someone pretends to solve a problem or establish his power by showing everyone how rich he is. I bring up this anecdote because in the wake of the interesting situation going on between Wall Street versus the rest of the world one of the richest men in China, Justin Sun, announced that he is going to join the crusade by buying $10 million in Gamestop (GME) stock.

It would appear that Mr. Sun intends to cash in on this time of financial turmoil in the Big Apple, bringing in capital from Tron (TRX) (and surely Steemit) to keep GME stock soaring. It's kind of like the "cool" guy who walks into a party toasting drinks to everyone hoping to get everyone to like him by showing off his bank bills and bought charisma.

Maybe the folks at r/wallstreetbets don't know who Justin Sun really is but frankly he's not an ally to brag about, knowing how he took over Steemit, a once decentralized, more or less democratic ecosystem that despite its flaws enjoyed a large community that supported him to death.

I guess the WSB overlords intend to take their cause to higher levels, perhaps use their own platforms beyond Reddit to bring a degree of order (and maturity) to their game against the old New York speculators. On the other hand Sun doesn't join anything without having a hidden interest that brings it some benefit.

Let's imagine for a moment that Sun offers the Steemit platform to move the WSB forum from its origin on Reddit, seduces its members, who are not few, to acquire or trade TRX or steem itself, i.e. apply with its cryptocurrencies the same tactic they do with Gamestop shares. It may be that it sins of exaggeration, but someone like Sun, an expert in traps and hidden business is better to be vigilant so as not to repeat the history of Troy.
