Like many here, the first time I heard about bitcoin was like a revelation. I was sitting in a cafe in Barcelona when I saw a young man saying the magic words: "I'm going to pay in bitcoin", and very naturally he took his cell phone, showed a code that was received by the cashier and after a short time the payment was confirmed; I had observed for the first time a transaction in crypto-currency.
That was seven years ago, at that time few people in the world knew what Bitcoin was, much less a blockchain, but definitely at that moment in that small cafe I understood that I was in the midst of a revolution that would change everything we know about the economy and even the relationship between countries and people.
Just as curiosity brought me to Hive Blog and then to Leofinance, to become acquainted with the crypt world I was investigating among the few experts who offer their knowledge, visions and points of view in various tutorials on the web. Research is an important step that becomes necessary before entering this world.
As an economist with postgraduate degrees in economics and international relations, it is natural that I am interested in this digital form of commercial exchange that is modifying everything we know so far about money, but we must be careful, despite the advantages of cryptomonies, many of them turn out to be traps if we are reckless when investing in them.
