If I was your blanket I could wrap you up in my arms and hold you close
I would show you that I care keeping you warm when the wind blows
I would be the one who always got to tuck you in at night
If you had a nightmare I would get to be right by your side
I would always get to lay with the one and only person I admire
I would love every second no matter even if you're really tired
I would hate when the morning came because you would have to leave
But when you came back my emptiness would be relieved
Durning the coldest nights you could hold me to your skin
And I would keep you warm and closely tucked in
For hours we could lay together and snuggle forever
And I will keep you interested with poems so sweet and clever!
