Hello my dear friends of Hive, today is Tuesday I love you Tuesday (laughs) starting with the best energy this new and wonderful day that God gives us.
Today I wanted to participate in the contest promoted by @ starstrings01 invites us to write in the communities of
@crossculture or
@blogging-team in order to promote our culture that's why I also want you to join and participate Link of the contest here to write about a topic that currently, despite the great advancement of technology, education, and culture around the world, is about stereotypes that in my opinion still overabundant in us human beings. And these for me are such a negative factor that I am surprised that even today they are still given so much power, allowing them to criticize and negative opinions about the lifestyle that a person decides to have.
If we investigate a little about what a stereotype is, most definitions will state that they are usually negative, positive or neutral, since they are considered as "beliefs" about how people should act and be, wanting to apply to each gender their behavior and even their appearance.
But from my point of view, I consider that this type of prejudice goes hand in hand with a negative approach, since I do not approve that there should be this type of patterns that "demand" how you should act, think, dress and often even feel each of us in our society. And it is not that I say this in a tone of rebellion against the opinions of others, only that I consider something exaggerated and above all very inappropriate, this type of attitude by many people to want to establish a strict guideline in the essence of another person.
An example of this may be one of the stereotypes present in my community (although there are many, I will name the one that today I think most important), is that constant criticism based on the sentimental tastes of others, or in more direct words that prejudice that exists against homosexuality. Now the question here is: How do I feel affected, the answer honestly would be nothing, and it is not to be indifferent to those who may be affected by it, on the contrary, it is a way to support themselves, is that I have always considered that we must learn to give value only to everything that influences positively in our lives, and the bad as prejudice and criticism of others simply discard them, and not allow them to affect us.
I believe that we are human beings born with a wonderful right called free will, which gives us the opportunity to decide each of the things we want for our lives, and in turn make us responsible for our own decisions. Love in this case is expressed in many ways and does not distinguish genders or establish conditions to be applied, that is why we must not give way to stereotypes in this, or even in any situation.
So if at this moment, there is someone reading this post who is immersed in this social storm do not give way to it in your life, always learn to accept from others only what makes us good and add positive things in us, and what does not, then simply discard the bad.
