Atlas Valley [Eng][Esp] | My Actifit Report Card: June 9 2024
There are times when a trip, unplanned, comes as a gift to escape from the routine that obfuscates us so much. Sometimes, very few times, you are lucky enough to have a few days off at the right time when you get an invitation from very special people, to share that beautiful experience that is to travel a small slice of the world with nice company.
Traveling with friends can be a wonder or a nightmare. Fortunately for me, the traveling friends I have are incredible. Meeting people like this again, after such a long time without seeing each other and feeling that things flow so easily, is a relief that makes me think about how lucky I am.
In addition, these exotic plans are always a safe bet. Anyway, I am back in Morocco, without having dialyzed and planned it as much as the first time I came, a couple of years ago. And I'm finding it quite enjoyable. It is a very interesting feeling to stroll through the streets of congested Marrakech with a certain familiarity.
Hay momentos en los que alg煤n viaje, sin planificar, cae como un regalo para escapar de esa rutina que tanto nos ofusca. A veces, muy pocas la verdad, se tiene la suerte de poder disponer de unos d铆as libres en el momento indicado en el que te llega una invitaci贸n de personas muy especiales, para compartir de esa hermosa experiencia que es recorrer un pedacito del mundo con una bonita compa帽铆a.
Viajar con amigos puede ser una maravilla o una pesadilla. Para mi suerte, los amigos viajeros que tengo son incre铆bles. Reencontrarme con personas as铆, despu茅s de tanto tiempo sin vernos y sintiendo que las cosas fluyen tan f谩cilmente, es un alivio que me hace pensar en la suerte que tengo.
Adem谩s, reci茅ntelos as铆 con planes ex贸ticos son siempre una apuesta segura. En fin que estoy de vuelta en Marruecos, sin haberlo v铆a dializadlo y planeado tanto como la primera vez que vine, hace un par de a帽os ya. Y me est谩 resultando bastante grato. Es una sensaci贸n muy interesante pasear por las calles de la congestionada Marrakech con cierta familiaridad.
But today I came to share the experience of a very light trekking we did to the Atlas valley, where quite far away we could see Mount Tubqal, which is the highest point in Africa, with more than 4,000 meters high. Although this excursion was not ours, in our case we did a 2 hours hike from the village of Imlil to the waterfalls ighouliden gel茅e.
A beautiful route, full of lovely landscapes and a fresh and sunny climate. Full of peace, tranquility, always accompanied by the sound of water falling from the waterfalls and small channels that direct the fall of water down the mountain. A marvel.
I felt very happy. I remembered many beautiful experiences from long ago, mountain treks in tropical climates that filled many years of life with vitality and joy. Moments that I miss very much and to which this experience brought me very close.
Pero hoy ven铆a a compartir la experiencia de un treking muy ligero que hicimos al valle del Atlas, en donde bastante a lo lejos pod铆amos divisar el Monte Tubqal, que es el punto m谩s alto de 脕frica, con m谩s de 4.000 metros de altura. Aunque esa excursi贸n no era la nuestra, en nuestro caso hicimos un recorrido de unas 2 horas desde el pueblo de Imlil hasta las cascadas ighouliden gel茅e.
Un recorrido precioso, lleno de hermosos paisajes y un clima fresco y soleado. Lleno de paz, tranquilad, acompa帽ados siempre por el sonido del agua al caer de las cascadas y de los peque帽os canales que dirigen la ca铆da del agua por la monta帽a. Una maravilla.
Me sent铆 s煤per contenta. Record茅 muchas experiencias bonitas de hace tiempo, recorridos por la monta帽a en climas tropicales que llenaron muchos a帽os de vida de vitalidad y alegr铆a. Momentos que extra帽o mucho y a los que me acerc贸 bastante esta experiencia.
In addition, the end was filled with lots of typical food prepared by the indigenous population of the mountain. We ended up enjoying the traditional chicken trajines, Couscous of vegetables and caramelized onion and bereberes salads.
We ate on a terrace that let us enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Atlas Valley, in a village nestled in the mountains, surrounded by incredible nature and a delightful climate. No exaggeration, a total marvel.
Adem谩s el final estuvo lleno de mucha comida t铆pica elaborada por la poblaci贸n aut贸ctona de la monta帽a. Terminamos disfrutando de los t铆picos trajines de pollo, Couscous de verduras y cebolla caramelizada y ensaladas bereberes.
Comimos en una terraza que nos permiti贸 disfrutar del hermoso panorama del Valle del Atlas, en una aldea enclavada en la monta帽a, rodeados de una incre铆ble naturaleza y un clima delicioso. No exagero, una maravilla total.
It has been a long time since I felt so happy and calm at the same time. It has been very worthwhile this trip, it is being very comforting.
Hace tiempo no me sent铆a tan feliz y calmada a la vez. Ha valido mucho la pena este viaje, est谩 siendo muy reconfortante.
