As we both were walking along the sea shore, he broke the news that he is moving to the Canada for higher studies. I was happy for him, but then I became sad that how we are going to cope up with long distance relation and there are other issues like my parents are continuously forcing me to get married and he left his job for higher studies.

So many questions were popping in my mind. For a minute I stood still, he shook me. Then I regained myself and came back to reality. Anyways he is going and definItely he has to go. I can’t be selfish. He really worked hard for his studies and he deserved every bit of it. Future is a blurred vision, who knows what it holds. I hugged him and said congratulations. He told me his plans and I was just nodding my head in favour, although my heart knows how hard it was to manage without him.

He asked me, you are looking lost, I said isn’t? I am okay. I asked him for treat, he said anytimes. Just I want to spend more time with you. He talked and talked, today despite of being perky I was listening quietly. He was really very excited. How can I stop him, no ways he has to go.

I observed in his conversations, he missed We whole time, it was only “I”. I was trying hard to control my emotions, I don’t want to be a hurdle who will burst and say those melodramatic talks, please stop and marry me.

I took some courage and said “I am happy for you, just go and fly and chase your dreams”.

After two hours he went, I sat there alone and watched the sunset and I said to myself,

Don’t hold him,
he will go,
just let him go,
if he will be yours,
he will come back to you,
and if he will not come then he was never yours.
