Hello and welcome to another post, last one for October 2021. As usual, when the new month is approaching, I like to prepare just by doing a simple bullet journal setup. Sometimes I decorate it more, sometimes I keep it pretty minimal as I did for November.
November is my birth month and with New Year not being that far away, during this time I already get into that vibe of a fresh start, thinking of the goals/intentions I want to set for myself and all that jazz. Even though I am aware that this vibe will wear off quickly, I still cannot help not feeling it. :) So I'll just go with it and set a few small goals to work on by the end of this year - I realized that focusing on smaller sections of time is the best for me. Going step by step, one small goal after another adds up and leads towards the big goal without being too overwhelmed and it's a lot more realistic.
Calendar for November looks so satisfying as 1st of the month is on Monday! So far I just wrote down a couple of birthdays to remember but I'll add more to it as days go by. Using this type of calendar really works well as an overview of the month and the most important dates - birthdays, events, deadlines etc. Other than that, I have sections for to-do's and goals which I am really going to break down into small ones. I am not planning to fill in all the space I have but it's nice to have room available in case I need it.
Next I made a section for expenses which is something I like to track just to see where my money goes and where I could cut down on expenses. In October I only had one song in my favorite songs section as I didn't really discover any new music or played a lot of songs on repeat but I like having this little corner for music and it's nice to look back at it.
Finally, another part of my monthly bullet journal spreads that cannot be left out is a habit tracker. Past few months I have been falling off the tracking my habits regularly so for November I want to put more focus on keeping up with my habits and actually track them properly.
I feel like I really need more structure in my life right now and a solid productive routine that will keep me on the path of achieving my (small and big) goals. With this goal setting, motivating and 'fresh start' vibe I'm in currently, I guess I should take advantage of it as that's a good energy to kick off with improving my life in few different ways - time management, better routines, better habits... and probably the most important thing, when this wears off to push through with more discipline and focus. I am such a good planner, but taking actions and staying disciplined when motivation wave goes away is my biggest struggle and area where I need to improve the most if I want to move forward in life and achieve great things.
