Hello hivers, Hope you all are having a good weekend?
Before I go ahead to give my own response for this weekend's prompt topic, I'll appreciate galenkp@galenkp for always giving us something interesting to write about every weekend. It's been a good ride since I joined this amazing community.

So on the topic for this weekend, I must say it's really challenging and got me thinking really hard. Of all the topics for the week, I'll be responding on the first topic "250 minutes"

You have only 250 minutes to live, (4.1 hours) and have the chance to speak to three people. Who do you call or see and why? What do you say and how do you feel the conversations would end?

It's going to be quite a hard decision to make, having to choose just 3 people to speak to among a good number of persons that I have associated with all my life. But notwithstanding, a choice has to be made.

The first person I'll speak with if I have the chance to live for 250 minutes is my fiancee. I'll start by talking about the wonderful memories we've shared together, the memories of how we met, the dates we've been together.
Just rekindling all the fun times we've had.
And most importantly I will tell him how amazing he's been and how much I enjoyed the love we shared. I will profess my love to him again. Truly I wouldn't want him to be with another lady but because I have just 250 minutes to live, I'll have him make a promise to me that he's going to move on with life, find another lady that will love him even more than I do. It's really going to so heartbreaking but nonetheless I'll have to convince him to move on.

My parents are seriously exempted from the 3 people I'd love to speak to if I have a chance to live 250 minutes because I wouldn't love them to see me die. It could give them a high blood pressure. But I'd love to have a chance to speak with a family member.
The second person I would speak to is my younger sister. If I have the chance to live for 250 minutes, I'll love to advise her to be a good girl. To do things the right way and most especially to make mummy and daddy proud. I'll tell her a little of the experiences I've had in life and the lessons I learnt from those life experiences. I will make her to understand that life is not a bed of roses but filled with thorns and thorns of difficulties that can be handled if a good approach is taken. I will tell her that I value her so much and would want her to be a great woman in the future. Tears would surely want to flow from my eyes but I'll make sure I give a warm smile or even a swift chuckle because it's ok to have this chat with her despite the fact that I have 250 minutes to live.

The third person I will speak to if I have 250 minutes to live is no other person than my bestie Wumi. We've just been amazing together since our secondary and university days in school that people even thought we were from the same family. Ahh! no other friend like my Wumi. I nearly lost Wumi to the cold hands of death last two years ago when she had a fatal road accident, just when everyone including the doctors had lost hope that Wumi would survive, God restored her life. For the 250 minutes that I will speak with Wumi, I will talk about how amazing our friendship has been, the times we had fun soaking garri as our breakfast when we had nothing to eat, the times we spent reading till day break just to smash our courses during exams. The kind of life we've anticipated to have to become successful women in the society and to make our parents proud. And most importantly I will tell her how grateful I am to God for making her survive from the fatal accident. Honestly it's going to be a nostalgic moment. Wumi knowing that I have such a small time to live would ask that she replace her life with mine but nonetheless I'll encourage her to make sure she achieves all that we anticipated together for the future.

While reading what I just wrote down, I couldn't help but cry a little cus this topic really made an impact in my thoughts. Once again thanks to galenkp@galenkp for organizing this mind drilling topic for the weekend.
