Psathyrellaceae

During our camping trip, after a cold and humid night, we were surprised to find a small fungus growing among the ashes and the charcoal of our camping fire. It was of the species Psathyrellaceae, a tiny and fragile fungus that seemed to have been born out of nowhere during the night. Although we didn’t know much about mushrooms, we found it fascinating to observe how life had arisen in such an unexpected place.

We wondered how this little fungus had managed to grow in such an inhospitable place, where everything was ash and coal. Probably, the humidity of the night and the warm temperature of the fire had created the ideal conditions for its growth. This reminded us how surprising nature can be, capable of finding life in the most inhospitable places.

The little fungus left us an important lesson: nature is amazing and is always ready to surprise us. Sometimes, we just have to be attentive to our surroundings to discover the wonders that are right under our noses.
