Como están los seguidores de esta maravillosa ¨Community¨:  . Siempre feliz de estar junto a ustedes para acompañar a nuestra amiga @ewkaw en su genial ¨Concurso¨:  . Estas son de esas iniciativas que me atraen participar por todo lo que involucra, desde el momento en que te internas en el bosque en su búsqueda, hasta la investigación para poder identificarlos.

Greetings to the followers of this wonderful "Community":  . I am always happy to be here with you all to join our friend @ewkaw in her brilliant "Contest":  . These are the kinds of initiatives I love participating in because of everything involved—from the moment you venture into the forest to search for them, to the research required to identify them.

Lo interesante de esta ¨especie¨:  de hongos es su papel en la naturaleza; ellos se ocupan de que las ramas de los árboles que caen con el viento terminen en la tierra. Por su textura, no creo que te llame la atención preparar un plato con ellos; este tipo son más buscados por todo lo que se puede hacer con ellos.

What makes this "species"  of fungus interesting is its role in nature; they ensure that tree branches knocked down by the wind eventually return to the earth. Given their texture, I don't think you'd be tempted to cook a dish with them; this type is sought after more for the other things that can be done with them.

Ha sido una pena no estar antes para ver a este maravilloso ¨ejemplar¨: de haber llegado antes estarían en perfecto estado. A estos ejemplares les dicen descomponedores y siempre que los encontramos, lo hacemos en un tipo particular de tronco de árbol.

It is a shame we didn't arrive sooner to see this wonderful specimen:  had we arrived earlier, they would have been in perfect condition. These specimens are known as decomposers, and whenever we find them, it is on a particular type of tree trunk.

Pueden creer que volvimos a dar con esta ¨especie¨:  ; seguro recordaran que antes los veíamos seguidos, pero se han vuelto algo escaso, y al parecer han regresado.

Can you believe we came across this species:  again? You surely remember that we used to see them often, but they had become somewhat scarce—and it seems they have returned.

No tienen una idea de cuánto me gustan las tomas que hace nuestra ¨camara¨ :  gracias a eso les puedo sorprender con fotografías preciosas a todos los apasionados de los hongos con las especies hermosas que hay en nuestra ciudad.

You have no idea how much I love the shots our "camera"  takes; thanks to it, I can surprise all mushroom enthusiasts with beautiful photographs of the lovely species found in our city.
