Greetings, Creative Artists of Crafts and Jewelry, as always, wishing you much well-being and health. I hope you are very relaxed, together with your family, enjoying this wonderful weekend. For me, time flies so fast that it leaves no trace.
On the 20th of this month, we celebrated World Bee Day. Although the date has passed, as always, it is worth mentioning. We must take into account that these small insects are part of the pollinators, along with others of their species, that help humans conserve ecosystems and reproduce many plants, including food crops, etc. They provide us with various products such as honey, wax, royal jelly, pollen, among others.
Taking into account this series of benefits and the need to protect bees, the UN decided in 2017 to declare May 20th World Bee Day. This May 20th was also my only sister's birthday, and just like we celebrate bees on her birthday, as part of this #hive, I thought it appropriate to make a nice memory for her, and for this I chose the image of a cute little bee that I made for her using Alambrismo y mostacillones so she can show it off with style. I invite you to continue reading the step-by-step instructions to see how I made it:
MATERIALES USADOS EN LA ELABORACIÓN DE ESTA SENCILLA ABEJITA:
✓ Mostacillones amarillos.
✓ Mostacillones Negros.
✓ Alambre de bisutería.
✓ Mostacillas blancas.
✓ Cuarenta centímetros de cordón.
paracord
✓ Una Argolla grande.
✓ Pinza de corte.
✓ Pinza de punta redonda.
✓ Pinza de presión.
MATERIALS USED IN THE MAKING OF THIS SIMPLE BEE:
✓ Yellow seed beads.
✓ Black seed beads.
✓ Jewelry wire.
✓ White seed beads.
✓ Forty centimeters of paracord.
✓ One large jump ring.
✓ Cutting pliers.
✓ Round-nose pliers.
✓ Locking pliers.
CON ESTOS PASOS POCOS Y SENCILLOS ELABORÉ ESTA MANUALIDAD.
PRIMER PASO:
WITH THESE FEW AND SIMPLE STEPS I MADE THIS CRAFT.
STEP ONE:
I'm going to start this first step by using seventy centimeters of 0.5 millimeter jewelry wire. At one end, I insert two black seed beads that I roll halfway down the wire. At the same end, I insert three more black seed beads, and I'll cross these with the tip of the other end. I'll join the tips to equal the wire measurements. I continue inserting four yellow seed beads at one end and crossing them with the wire from the other end. Now I cross five black seed beads, insert six yellow ones, then cross seven black ones, and here I make a reduction: I insert six yellow ones, cross them, another reduction, insert five black ones, and cross them, and it looks like the photo shows.
STEP TWO:
Now I'm going to form the bee's wings. I have a wire on each side and I'm going to work them separately. First, I insert twelve white beads into each wire, and pass the wire from each tip crossing it in the opposite direction. I already formed the two wings at the bottom. Now I insert sixteen white beads into each wire. With my hands, I give it an oval shape and twist it, placing them on top of the two small wings. Now I insert three yellow beads through one of the wires and cross them. Now I form the head: I'll insert a black bead at one end, one yellow, and one black, crossing them and that's how I have the eyes. I insert two yellow beads. I continue with the elaboration, leaving two centimeters of wire at each end. Now I place a black bead at each tip and with my hands, I twist it to secure it. Now I use a thick needle and mold it in a zigzag shape to give it an original touch. As I show.
PASO TRES:
STEP THREE:
Once the previous two steps are completed, I place a ring on one of the wings using the pliers. Now I make a kind of braid with the yellow paracord, add the bee, and tie a slip knot to finish.
