In today's society we have become a throw away culture. The majority of us would rather throw away something rather then fix it. While this may be the easy way I would argue that it has many negative effects. The first it is a lost of the funds you worked hard to earn. Next we have the effect on the environment from the added trash to the land fill, the fuel that is used to make and transport the new object. On the flip side there is the satisfaction of making/fixing something on your own. In addition you are able to use those funds you saved to increase your net worth may that be in your bank account, gold/silver, or your choice of crytocurrency. Below is a short video on replacing a close-pin bag. nothing spectacular but it help me learn on a small sewing machine, replaced my bag that was much needed and saved a couple of bucks.
