My Diary Story 30/1/2024 : Today I will take you to visit the fishermen's boat moorings in Banting District.
Hello everyone.
Today I'm proud to take you all on a tour of the fisherman's boat mooring site in Banting District, Malaysia. Even though this is not a very big place to park boats, it is the occupation of the villagers along the river. This river will flow down to meet the sea. Therefore, there is nothing unusual about fishermen's boats mooring here as this is also a large river.
Actually, I have passed this place many times before but never had the opportunity to go and see it up close like this. Mostly because we come to the flea market every Monday evening and this is not far from the flea market. We walked around and arrived at this fisherman's boat mooring. If you want to get fresh seafood, you can come and buy with the fishermen in the early morning. Today the weather is very hot and the sun is still hot. When we arrived, we couldn't see any fishermen besides the many boats lined up. Now the water has receded to the point where the boat is parked next to the muddy floor.
Sometimes when I pass this way I see monkeys sitting on the top of the boat. But today I didn't see the monkeys as usual. Maybe because it was still early in the day and the sun was hot at this time, maybe the monkeys were still looking for food in the palm groves.
When we walked almost 200 meters beyond the large square where the Monday market was, we arrived at the fisherman's boat mooring point. The first thing we could see was that we had arrived at our destination. That is. At the entrance there is a picture of a large shrimp made from automobile tires cut and assembled into the shape of a large shrimp. It looks like a very creative work. And next to it, there will be a large blue boat moored, that is, a boat that is no longer in a usable condition. This place is like a symbol of a fishing boat going out to find seafood.
And next to it are many fishing boats that are still usable. There are many parks which if you look deeper inside, it is the main river of this city district, which is a river that is used to nourish Malaysians for use in agriculture or even consumption as well. This river flows into the vast sea. Yes, my house is not far from the sea. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to drive to the sea. And at this time the fishermen don't live here, they only come in the early morning to go out and find seafood. So I got to see and enjoy the atmosphere here that I had just come to see up close for the first time. Looking at this area, I could see a bridge over the river that connected to my village as well.
And this is the activity that me and the children went out to do together today. The children took pictures with the big shrimp sign in front of the entrance. The weather was still hot and they still had to use umbrellas to protect themselves from the sun. Thank you to all my friends who stopped by to read the articles and look at the photos I have shared today. I hope you guys will like and enjoy it as much or as little. Thank you for following and supporting me all the time.
Thank you very much everyone.
