Hello, my lovely friends!
Today I have a little story to share. I've been a bit absent lately due to a lot of housework. Whenever I have free time, I'll share stories as usual. Today, I planned to take my little one for a health checkup at the hospital after her heart surgery. It wasn't the hospital where the surgery was performed, but the one she was referred to for follow-up care. We arrived at the hospital around 10:00 AM. My little one was getting her checkup, and we had to wait in line. There were so many patients today! We waited a long time too, almost until 1:00 PM before we were finally seen. The doctor concluded that we needed to come back another time to complete my daughter's case. After that, we followed her dad to work. I forgot to mention that it's school holidays now, so the kids aren't at school. My little one is still recovering at home. Therefore, we had some time together. Instead of driving home after the checkup, we just went straight to work – that was the best option, haha! Those who are working can work, and those who are waiting can wait – no problem, no rush. After they finished eating, they each had a plate of food, which was enough to fill them up. After that, it was time for the children to go play in the place they had imagined, which was a toy store.
And finally, it was time for the kids to burn off some energy! After almost the entire day of driving, it was time for some fun. My eldest daughter pulled me into a stationery store to buy some new pencils. I was wondering why kids these days use up so many pencils—maybe they're collecting them because there are so many cute designs these days. After she found what she liked, I followed my youngest daughter to a toy store selling adorable dolls. I have to admit, toys these days are incredibly appealing to children. The marketing strategies are brilliant; they really manage to empty parents' pockets without them even breaking a sweat! Haha!
