It's a weird place for a PowerPoint!
Inside a cupboard almost behind the door. It was easy to work out when I saw the original drawings of the house. The spare bedroom was originally supposed to be two small seperate rooms, an office and storage. The original owners must have changed their minds after the electrician had roughed in all the cables. The Electrician must have been swearing when he came back and saw the cupboard wall right where the GPO was supposed to go. Probably with no one else on site, he just put it as close as possible to what his plans said. He even had to ruin the internal timber stud wall to make it fit.
It was an easy fix for me, I just cut a hole on the other side of the wall and re terminated it but then I will need to repair the hole before painting.
