[Art made by me]
The kids' world keep confusing me and I have to catch myself every now and then as almost every word these kids use innocently means something sexy in the adult world.
I saw some little boy crying, I asked what the problem was, he pointed to another little girl close by, I asked what did she do? He said "she ate my peanuts"
I went:
Tenor!
I was this close 👌 to telling him "well, that's a good thing". But I caught my dirty mind halfway and just told him sorry. And told him he would one day grow up to appreciate girls eating his peanuts. As for the little girl, I told her that I hope she keeps that same energy when she gets older.
On the street, two kids, a boy and a girl, were playing with a bicycle. The boy started teasing the girl about how she doesn't know how to ride it. Then she replied. Wait for it. She replied: "I'm new to it, my mommy said with time I'll know how to ride very well". I had to stop what I was doing to face her direction and make the sign of the cross, because with even more time, when she comes off age, the world would call upon her to know how to ride (albeit something else) very well and she'll be needing this Godspeed. Amen.
A kid was reciting "A for apple, B for ball," etc. Sometimes he gets to a letter and it takes him time to remember what the letter stands for. It didn't really occur to me to help him until when he came to the letter "p". He said "p for..", "p for..." He was struggling, I came to his aid and said "p for pussy". He repeated after me immediately "p for pussy!" I winked at him like a fellow comrade, he didn't wink back and that was when I realized oh shit, little children don't get down like that.
