Who can dance?

If you consider yourself to be young, old, fat, thin, tall, short, black, white, green, one leg, one arm, introvert, extrovert and EVERYTHING in-between.

I absolutely promise you if you take the time to find your local Lindy Hop class / community you will be welcomed with open arms. in all the hobbies i have participated in through out my life I have never found a more rewarding activity and community to be involved in.

I live in London, UK and i think it is fair to say that we are experiencing a global come back for the Lindy Hop dance and most of the dances that fall under the Jazz umbrella. Australia and London have benefited greatly from Scot Cupids dance company start up called Swing Patrol which has grown considerably over the last three years and opened 40 new dance classes in London alone (more on that in another post).

I believe dancing to be a fantastic way to keep in shape and to burn calories but it is also a great way to meet new people and to provide you with ongoing goals to achieve and head towards.

If you are mildly interested, why not give Lindy hop a go and see if you like it? just remember even the best dancers in the world started at lesson one and at least some if not all would say they started with two left feet.
