An ordinary day

I rarely have time that I can dedicate to myself, to enjoy, to do nothing.. today was one such day.. it started quite normally, I got up, got ready, talked to my sister and agreed with her to go to coffee. Of course, with coffee I always take a croissant, which is my favorite sweet in my favorite cafe.
We were in the cafe for about two hours and in the meantime we woke up. The day started very calmly, with a walk by the river, with birds singing and a light breeze.
Over time, the sun began to emerge from behind the clouds, and even then I knew that the day would go differently. We decided it was a perfect day to swim in the pool, so we did it. We were outside for hours, even in the hottest sun, so we got a nice tan.
In the meantime, we got hungry and decided to order something to eat and that is what contributed to the beauty of this day and to make it complete.
It's a pity that there aren't more days like this in the month, when a person can relax and do nothing. It can be said that we are too preoccupied with work and yet in life we pay little attention to ourselves and our desires.
