I wanted to share this photo, of a sandpaper that I have painted for my good and young friend Claudio.

Quería compartir esta foto, de una lija que he pintado para mi bueno y joven amigo Claudio.

And I'm going to tell you a little about the background of this painting on sandpaper.
My friend, it is greatly undervalued. For a long time he had a very toxic environment, and I think that led him to feel very inferior.
And that is why I have drawn for him a creature that comes out of the depth, that only a few tentacles can be seen coming out and no one can know the greatness of the creature that is about to come out.

Y voy a contaros un poco el fondo de esta pintura en una lija.
Mi amigo, se infravalora mucho. Durante mucho tiempo tuvo un entorno >muy tóxico, y eso creo que llevo a que el mismo se sintiera muy inferior.
Y por eso he dibujado para el una creatura que sale de la profundidad, que >solo se ven unos tentáculos saliendo y nadie puede saber la grandeza de la >creatura que esta por salir.

And that is the message that I apparently wanted to convey to my friend. In general, I always start drawing without having anything specific in mind. And I usually understand my drawings after finishing them. Sometimes right away, sometimes it takes days, weeks, or even months.

But it's the way I like to paint / draw.

Y ese es el mensaje que al parecer quería trasmitirle a mi amigo. En general >siempre empiezo a dibujar sin tener nada en concreto en mente. Y suelo >entender mis dibujos tras finalizarlos. A veces de inmediato, a veces tardo >días, semanas o incluso meses.

Pero es la forma en la que me gusta pintar/dibujar.
