My companions was in the boat, and I let out a slow breath. I had no idea what it felt like to be standing in front of him. In my mind, Abby had turned out to be the captain of the Sea Dancer, asking her to anchor him. In fact, it was as if she 'd grown up in a boat just a few days ago. She shook her head and buried her face in the water, but she also knew that there wasn t an anchor on the island. Somehow, I was willing to let the boat pass in between us.
