I photographed this green abstraction at another abandoned site on the outskirts of the city. As some of you already know, I absolutely love textures, images, and compositions like these. Dirt, dust, and the marks of time combined with bright green paint—naturally, I couldn't just walk on by. At first glance, there is nothing unusual about this, but if you dig deeper, look more closely, and view everything from a different angle, a whole universe might open up before you!And that is precisely what I love finding in all those familiar textures that surround us everywhere—something magical, unreal, perhaps even majestic, hiding literally right beneath our feet...
