At certain time of the day the reflection of the solar light on the surface of the sea is so strong and blinding, that we hardly distinguish the silhouettes of the objects, in particular the ships. These scenes remains me some novels of Joseph Conrad. I regularly see this situation and I decided to capture it on the photos that I share in this post. Notice in the first photo that there is a second ship near the line of the horizon.
I think the black and white images emphasizes the blindness and boredom felling of the moment.
A ciertas horas del día el reflejo de La Luz solar en la superficie del mar se hace realmente cegador, donde apenas se ven las siluetas de los objetos, en particular de los buques, lo cual me recuerda a ciertas novelas de Joseph Conrad. Es una escena que regularmente observo y decidí plasmarla en las fotografías que hoy comparto. Noten en la primera foto que hay un segundo barco cerca de la linea del horizonte.
Considero que las imágenes en blanco y negro enfatizan la sensación cegadora y de pesadez que se trasmite.
