Society never ceases to amaze me, when you think it can't get worse, a bunch of jobless people have a meeting and come up with something new to keep everybody else on their toes. First "I identify as" to "My truth".
I will try my best to be as "politically correct" as I possibly can in this post but I make no promises. First off, the LGBTQ community which should have just been the LGBT community because nobody really knows what the Q stands for if we're being honest but yeah, those guys. You know why I like them and I've made my peace with them, what to know why? They mind their business.
They just want to live their live without judgment, no trouble making but you see those "they/them" people, serious trouble makers. Why do they/them try so hard to make a point or be notice.
Life was so much easier when people didn't know the meaning of pronouns, who knew learning about them in preschool would cause the end of us. Now you have to be careful not to assume the gender of anybody. Ladies, if you see a guy in a female's bathroom, don't be so quick to throw him out of there, he could be one of you.
"Why would you just assume my gender?" has to be one of the most annoying sentences of all time, the world has more important things to worry about like global warming or the invention of shawarma to be worried about your identity.
I can't wait for everything to start backfiring, when a muscular dude identifies as a woman and plays as a female fighter knocking out his fellow women out in the first round or someone like Lebron playing in the females basketball division, that's when I'll start getting behind it.
As if we did not have enough problems already, the "my truth" people emerged.
I have to hand it to us, human beings have found a way to throw facts and logic out the window. Incase you aren't aware, My truth is a phrase used to justify a controversial personal stance or action because "your truth" cannot be argued with.
Lord please keep me alive to witness these things backfiring, imagine this;
Judge: Does the defendant have anything to say before the final verdict?
Defendant: Yes you honor. ................proceeds to stand
Defendant: Mr. John says I murdered his brother but my truth is I am not a guilty man.
Judge: Well who can argue with your truth, you're free to go.
My prediction is another way to be politically correct will emerge, I give it two years. Sometimes I see some people and I wonder why the corona virus didn't do its job. Remember folks, I'm not dark, I'm just dark skinned.
