Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,
You still have time till tomorrow to submit your entries for #SMaP (Show me a photo Contest). The prompt is to show me your photos of birds from crow family also known as Corvids or Corvidae. Crows are not the only birds that belong to this family, as the name suggests. The other ones are rooks, ravens, jays, treepies, nutcrachers and choughs.

After this short reminder and I really hope to see more entries, I would like to show you my latest photos of Corvidae. Actually they all are from today.
Let me start with this curious jackdaw, who landed on top of the lamp post. Jackdaws are quite numerous and very noisy. Very often together with the crows or other birds feed together in the grass.
Next is this crow who was standing seriously and looked around. Somehow reminded me of a boss who is checking on his employees.
Another crow perching on a branch and no, it is not one-legged, just caught it when the crow did some stretching.
Today I saw many magpies, but I have only one shot.
To my delight I saw also a jay. I see jays seldom in our park, so it was my lucky day today.
Next photo wasn't the best, the sun was not behind, but if I went round the tree, I would scare the bird and miss to snap a picture.
In this last photo, the jay got something in the beak, but hard to tell what.
And that is how I managed to photograph in one day, during the morning walkie with the dog four representatives of the crow family. It was even better day, because I saw Simon, the squirrel.
And that's all for now. It was a very pleasant warm October day and I hope for the same tomorrow.
