Hello,

If you follow me, you know that I am hosting #SMaP (Show Me A Photo Contest) in Feathered Friends Community and also you would know that this week we are after the small birds. ➡️➡️➡️Link to the contest post.

And now I would like to show you some small birds I have encountered recently.

Sparrows are widely spread and hardly there is a person who doesn't know them. They are following us in towns and there is always food for them. The scarce snow on the ground, green grass and sparrow.

There is an abundance of Great tits in our parks. Their songs and calls can be heard from early morning.

The top of the lamp post is open and birds use it for nests. Obviously the hollow part does not go deep down and the space is just enough for such small birds.

Another tit, the Blue tit, slightly smaller than the Great tit, but more acrobatic.

And the last small bird I would like to show you is the hawfinch. Its very distinctive beak helps to crash nuts and pits of fruit. Despite the bird looks angry and fierce it has very gentle voice.

And that's all for now, my selection of small birds. They are numerous and all you have to do is to look carefully around. They might be closer than you think.
