Before getting into the details of this past week's performance, there's an important proposal everyone should weigh in on. It's been discussed by multiple people to have a buyback program. To do this would require additional capital, which is doable. Before any plan is set in place, it's only fair that the stakeholders have a chance to provide feedback, so please reply in the comments!

Buyback Program Proposal

The tentative plan would be threefold.

1. Convert all post earnings to HBD and be put into savings

2. 50% of all Hive-Engine tokens earned would be sold and ultimately converted to HBD and put into savings

3. An additional 1% power down would be performed (So 91% instead of 90%) and the extra HIVE from this would be converted to HBD and put into savings

An announcement would be made one month prior to initiating a limited buyback using the HBD funds in savings. The buyback price would be at 85% of the current market or tranche price. It would be first come, first served and when funds run out the buyback stops. The tokens bought back would be relisted on the market at 10% under the market or tranche price, and the remaining 5% would be converted back to HBD and put back into savings. The funds from token sales in this process would be powered up. The process would then repeat itself in perpetuity.

The idea is it would allow limited buybacks without negatively affecting the growth of the account long-term. Please leave comments to provide feedback, suggestions, etc.
