Today I will tell you about my trip to Baron Beach. My interest about Baron beach is because this beach is different from the others, besides being used as a sand playground by visitors, this place is also a fish auction, where fishermen's boats dock on this beach.
Baron Beach is a tourist attraction in the form of a beach located in Kemadang Village, Tanjungsari District, Gunungkidul Regency. The location of Baron Beach can be reached 40 kilometers from the center of Yogyakarta. The origin of the name Baron Beach comes from the name of a Dutch nobleman named Baron Skeber.
This is my first visit to this beach Baron, I came with my family.
You can see from this picture that many boats are leaning, not only fishing boats but also boats for crossing the passengers into the beach.
In my opinion, this beach is quite different and unique, because the shape of Baron beach is like a basin in the middle of the sea which is a place for visitors to play with sand, the place is in the middle like surrounded by the ocean.
To get to that location we can't just walk but we have to cross by boat first.
BARON BEACH
Arriving at Baron beach, I did not go down to play in the sand like the others, because the weather was very hot and I had to cross first to get to my destination. Actually the waves on this beach are not too big, but after I found out that this beach forms a basin in the middle of the beach so I was afraid to play with the waves and sand. Baron Beach is also visited by many local and foreign tourists because this beach is famous for its beautiful and very charming scenery. In addition, Baron beach is also famous for its various kinds of seafood, both cooked and raw, such as fish, shrimp, lobster, crab, grass and others.
I started walking around Baron beach to see knick-knacks or souvenirs and various seafood that have been processed into dishes.
The Uniqueness of Baron Beach
The uniqueness of Baron beach is because this beach has a fairly swift underground river flowing into the ocean. Uniquely, the water tastes bid. It is said that anyone who visits the meeting of fresh water and sea can unite two people from different groups. Very interesting, isn't it....?
Knick-knacks or Souvenirs
For those of you who visit Baron beach, don't forget to buy knick-knacks as souvenirs, the knick-knacks sold are very beautiful and unique, the price is also quite affordable, not too expensive. Almost all of these knick-knacks are taken from ocean products such as shellfish, starfish and stones. Then made into decorations such as lampshades, shell curtains, bracelets, key chains, flower vases, mirrors, tissue boxes and others.
Culinary, Various Seafood
For those of you who love seafood, you must buy this snack. The seafood that is sold is such as, shrimp mash, fried seaweed, fried crab, fried fish, fried shrimp and others. All the food here is still fresh and cooked on the spot, so when you buy it you can also see the frying process.
What I Get?
Yesterday I shopped for some knick-knacks to take home, it feels like something is missing if I don't buy something here. I bought key chains, bracelets, miniature turtles, flower vases, and lampshades. These knick-knacks are so beautiful that it made me interested in buying them.

This lampshade made of snails and shells is no less beautiful, the shells colliding with each other when blown by the wind will produce a loud sound.

The turtle keychain is very cute and funny, the price is very cheap. You can buy this to give to a friend or relative.You can use it as a house or vehicle door key ring.
Miniature Tortoise
This miniature is no less beautiful, very interesting. Miniature turtles can be used as displays for the home, this will add beauty to the room in your home.

The bracelet "I Love Jogja", is a symbol of our love for the city of Yogyakarta. You can share this bracelet with friends as a symbol of friendship. I bought some to share with my closest friends and relatives.
The city of Yogyakarta is the city where I was born, no matter how far this foot goes I will never forget to go home. The city of Yogyakarta is famous for its many tourism spots, so that it makes local and foreign tourists interested in visiting it. If you want to take a vacation I highly recommend good places in the city of Yogyakarta, for you beach lovers there are lots of beaches in this city, one of which is Baron Beach which I visited this time.
