A Note,
Left in the wake,
Of empty halls.

Echoing laughter,
Noise and chatter,
Now lay empty.

It was the best time,
As time will ever be,
Stuck to the wall,
A song of the heart.

Pacing from one exit to another,
Missed maybe by a mile,
A wait,
Foolish,
Yet one that was needed.

A gift of a song,
Penned in innocence,
An exploding thought,
Into the realms of dreams.

Peeping from over,
It would take time,
To see how it comes to,
Fruition.
