The battle rule for this match was "Briar Patch." Under this rule, all cards gain the "Thorns" ability; whenever a card launches a melee attack, the attacker takes retaliatory damage. Consequently, one has to be strategic when selecting cards for this rule, as relying too heavily on melee attacks could result in damage to one's own team.
