That is a good point. I don't like violence or hate speech. But having said that, I think that even people who have hateful ideas should be allowed to speak out, as long as they are not advocating violence or attacks on others, or sexual abuse. If they are sharing racist ideas, for example, it's unpleasant, but we can call them out on it and challenge their ideas. If they are banned from sharing their ideas, they will go underground and as they will only be talking to other people who hold similar ideas, they'll get even worse.
