Hoy comenzaré con ésta reflexión:

Es cuarentena radical en Venezuela y voy a aprovechar de elaborar un cuello Peter Pan. Son muy elegantes y puedes usarlo con cualquier blusa básica en alguna ocasión especial.

Venezuela is in lockdown now and I'm going to take advantage of making a Peter Pan neck. They are elegant and you can wear them with any basic blouse.

Vamos a elaborarlo con materiales que tengamos en casa.

Let's make it with some material we have at home

Qué vamos a necesitar?:

What are we going to need?

• Un retazo de tela.

A piece of fabric.

• Un retazo de tela de forro.

A piece of fabric for the background.

• Papel y lápiz

Paper and pencil.

• Alfileres

Pins

• Aguja e hilo.

Needle and thread.

De acuerdo a la medida de tu cuello dibujamos nuestro cuello Peter Pan en papel y luego recortamos para sacar el molde.

According to your measurement neck we draw our Peter Pan neck and cut up after so as to get the mold

Ajustamos el tamaño y alfileteamos sobre la tela estampada.

We adjust the size and pin on the fabric.

Recortamos la parte delantera y reversa.

Let's cut up the right and reverse part.

Cosemos por todo el borde y dejamos un espacio para luego voltear al lado correcto.

Now to sew at the bridge except one of the tips and leave a space to turn to the right side.

Volteamos la costura al lado derecho cosemos la abertura y en la parte central del cuello con aguja e hilo arruchamos un poco.

We turn the seam, sew the opening and at the central part of the neck we crumple with needle and thread.

Para sujetar nuestro cuello usaremos un botón y un pedacito de tela.

To save our neck we can use a button and a little bit of fabric.

Forramos el botón con la tela de la siguiente manera.

We cover the button in the next way.

Abrimos una pequeña abertura y colocamos el botón forrado y cosemos alrededor.

Then open a small opening and insert the covered button and sew around.

Cómo no tengo una cadena para sujetar al botón voy a usar varias vueltas de hilo.

As I don't have a chain to safe the button I'm going to use several turns of thread.

Y sello de ésta forma.

And I close it at this way.
