TBT/ With my old bandmates [ENG/ESP]

Greetings friends! This is my first time here, and this time I'm bringing this #TBT with these two images, which are more than 12 years apart. The bottom image was taken approximately in the year 1998-1999, and the top image is from 2012.

In the 90s image, we had just finished performing a welcome concert for the new students at a University in our city, Maturin, Monagas state, Venezuela. It was a great show that we have fond memories of and was one of the many wonderful experiences I had singing with the band (It was called ESEQUIBO).

The 2012 photo (where we tried to recreate the other image) was taken on the occasion of a reunion we had after all those years, as one of the guitarists was getting married (the first from right to left) and his gift was for the band to play at his wedding!

It was a reunion full of nostalgia and beautiful memories. Unfortunately, the drummer, who appears with dark glasses in the photo I show you below, passed away in 2021 due to COVID-19😞😞

The rest of us remain in contact, each one with our lives dedicated to other things, but with music always present.

Nowadays, I'm in another band with which I've also accumulated a large number of experiences and unforgettable moments!

In this last photo, we were performing live at our friend's wedding in 2012 😉😉

TBT Con mis viejos compañeros de banda

Saludos amigos!. Es mi primera vez por acá y en esta ocasión traigo este #TBT con estas dos imágenes, que tienen más de 12 años de diferencia entre si. La imagen inferior fué tomada aproximadamente en el año 1998-1999 y la imagen superior es del 2012

En la imagen de los años 90, justo acabábamos de dar un concierto de bienvenida a los estudiantes de nuevo ingreso de una Universidad de nuestra ciudad Maturin, en el estado Monagas, Venezuela. Fué un show genial del que tenemos gratos recuerdos y fué una de las tantas experiencias maravillosas que viví cantando con la banda (Se llamaba ESEQUIBO).

La foto de 2012 (donde tratamos de recrear la otra imagen) se tomó con ocasión de un reencuentro que tuvimos después de todos esos años, ya que uno de los guitarristas se casaba (el primero de derecha izquierda) y su regalo fué que la banda tocara en su boda!!.

Fué un reencuentro lleno de nostalgia y hermosos recuerdos. Lamentablemente el baterista, que aparece con lentes oscuros en la foto que les muestro a continuación, falleció en 2021 a causa de la COVID 19 😞😞

El resto, seguimos en contacto, cada uno con su vida dedicada a otras cosas, pero con la música siempre presente.

Hoy en día, estoy en otra banda con la que también he acumulado gran cantidad de vivencias y momentos inolvidables!.

En esta última foto, estábamos en pleno show en la boda de nuestro amigo, en el 2012 😉😉
