디즈니가 미국 애너하임에서 열린 D23 미디어 세션에서 한국 드라마 ‘The Remarried Empress’ 예고편을 처음 공개했다. 경영진은 ‘Moving’, ‘A Shop for Killers’ 등 한국 오리지널을 글로벌 성과 사례로 소개하며, 지역의 정서와 이야기에 충실한 작품이 알고리즘과 입소문을 통해 국경을 넘는 ‘교차 확산’ 현상을 강조했다. 또 한국 예능 ‘Battle of Fates’ 포맷이 영국을 비롯한 여러 나라에서 현지화될 예정이라고 밝혔다.
