김정훈 감독의 미스터리 스릴러 영화 ‘최종면접’이 11월 4일 한국 극장에서 개봉한다. 아사쿠라 아키나리의 소설을 바탕으로, 5천 대 1의 경쟁률을 뚫은 취업 지원자 6명이 제한된 공간에서 단 한 명의 합격자를 직접 뽑는 과정을 그린다. 서로의 비밀이 담긴 봉투가 공개되면서 갈등이 깊어지며, 단편적인 사실만으로 타인을 판단하는 편견의 위험을 배우들의 표정과 감정 변화에 집중해 탐구한다. 이 작품은 제31회 부산국제영화제 파노라마 부문에서 먼저 공개됐다.
Director Kim Jung-hoon’s mystery thriller Final Interview opens in Korea on Nov. 4. Based on Akinari Asakura’s novel, it follows six finalists forced to choose one successful applicant as hidden secrets surface.
