미국 의회도서관은 현지시간 8월 6일 워싱턴 D.C. 토머스 제퍼슨 빌딩에서 K팝과 한국 문화 자료를 조명하는 무료 야간 행사를 연다. 참가자는 음악에 맞춰 춤추고 응원봉을 꾸미며 K팝·한국 문화 퀴즈에 팀으로 참여할 수 있다. 아시아부·음악부·미국민속생활센터의 특별 소장품도 공개되며, 전문가에게 개인 K팝 기념품 보존법을 배울 수 있다. 행사는 오후 5시부터 8시까지 진행되고 퀴즈는 오후 6시에 시작한다.
On Aug. 6, the Library of Congress will host a free evening celebrating Kpop and its Korean cultural collections in Washington. Visitors can dance, decorate light sticks, join a team trivia contest and view items from three Library divisions. Specialists will also explain how fans can preserve their own Kpop memorabilia.
