Yeah, you're supposed to bring something to a party, she said. Uh, I stuttered and looked back at Lawrence and he just shrugged. Sam brought down his school pack and brought out barbecue and said barbecue? Jane smiled, took the barbecue and said thanks, come on in. Me and Lawrence stood there speechless and confused, Sam looked at us and said you're welcome! he went inside and we joined him.
I thought parties are supposed to be fun, Sam commented. When your ass ever been to a party? I asked. And church don't count, Lawrence added. Check it, he replied and he started making some funny moves, in no time, everyone in the party was following Sam's moves, me and Lawrence looked at each other, Lawrence shrugged and we joined them.
