We're short of a few actors he said, and you and your friends are perfect for it, I promise you super important parts. He took us inside to dress, and gave us the role of lollipop kids. After school, it's already dark and decided to take Lawrence's advice, I walked down the block where the dude hangs, I saw him chatting with his friends so I stood opposite them in the other end of the street. One of his friends called his attention to me and he crossed over and roll up on me. Yoo, wassup, I said. You tell me, he replied. Came to my school looking for me, I said. Yeah, when you got a problem that's what happens, he replied. Look man we ain't got no problem, I said. I'll decide if we got a problem or not, he replied. Damn. This dude knew I've snitched on him, he got me talking, and he told me to set Tariq up. I left to my boy Lawrence and told him what happened, he gave me one of his brother's piece and I left to see Tariq.
Tariq was just returning from work and rolled up on him and said Yoo. Wadup Tony, what are you doing up here, he said. My bad for rolling up on you like that, I just want to say sorry for what happened the other night at my crib, you know I said some shit I didn't mean to say and I'm sorry, I said. I was wondering if you could walk me home, you know it's getting late, and uhh, you know I gotta cut through the park to get home and you know, I don't wanna walk by myself, I said. Before I finish talking, he walked back to me and said it's all good, you don't have to, say no more. Okay I said and we started walking. It's a'ight to be scared sometimes Tony he said. Man, I ain't scared, dang, I snapped. So wasup man, school good? He asked. When has it ever been good? I asked and he laughed. Then we're at the park, where I agreed with the other dude that I was going to bring Tariq to, so I stop walking. I say something wrong? What wrong? Tariq asked. I didn't say anything so he kept asking what's wrong, what's going on? The other dude came out from where he was hiding in the park and said, What's going on, little man? Tariq turned to his direction and he said to Tariq, I hear you've been looking for me. Tariq turned back and looked at me.
